What is Holistic Nurse self-care?

Holistic self-care attends to the needs the entire healthiness of mind, body and spirit which cannot be separated from the whole, bringing attention together to one place. Each component can help nurses to set the intention to take care for their whole selves. Holistic self-care is taking care of us, holistically, exercising all dimensions of our well-being. Exercising regularly, maintaining good health both mentally and physically. Control over the body and mind plays a major role in holistic self-care.

In medical terms, taking holistic care would be the best example to treat patients to self-understanding about their health conditions. Explaining about the treatments they undergo, medicines and its uses and the lifestyle they need to undergo after the surgeries is termed as holistic care taken by the patients for themselves.
